How to Repair an ActiveX Error


1. Launch Internet Explorer.
2. Click 'Tools,' then 'Internet Options.' The 'Internet Options' dialog box will appear.
3. Locate the 'Security' tab and click it.
4. Click the 'Custom Level' button. The 'Security Settings' list will appear.
5. Scroll through the 'Settings' list and find the 'ActiveX controls and plug-ins' section. In this section, find the 'Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins' option. For this option, click 'Enable.'
6. Locate the 'Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting' option in the list. Click 'Enable' for this option.
7. Click the 'OK' button and then click the 'Apply' button. This will save your recent changes and close the dialog box.
